  • Have regular meals at right time as irregular timings confuse the release of enzymes for digestion.
  • Fruits, especially walnuts are excellent for heart and oils are the worst.
  • Regular intake of lemon and gooseberry(amla)prevents heart problems by preventing the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood vessels.
  • Exercise or walk for 30 minutes daily.
  • Quit smoking and minimise alcohol intake.
  • Control weight,smoking,blood pressure and sugar and have proactive approach towards healthcare.
  • Go for routine blood tests to keep a tab on sugar and cholesterol levels.
  • Keep stress at bay and have a positive outlook towards life.
